Meet Dr. Angela Karogiannis
I am passionate about making people smile! It is my job to make people feel comfortable at the dentist and create an enjoyable experience, where they can receive quality care in a friendly and professional atmosphere. In the office I go by Dr. K.
My patients made me who I am today. They put their health in my hands and that is something I take very seriously. I develop relationships with these people and have grown with them through the years. I have been working as an associate doctor in a dental practice in Stoneham, MA for the past 12 years.
Education and Continuing Education
I grew up in Somerville, MA, and attended parochial school until my undergraduate studies at Tufts University. I continued on at Tufts School of Dental Medicine where, in 2002, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Since then, I have taken numerous courses on rotary endodontics and recently purchased the latest in technology in order to provide painless and quick results. I have also taken classes in implant and cosmetic dentistry, and on the latest products and procedures. These classes allow me to build confidence in my patients, knowing that I am providing the latest in dental care and the best outcome for their oral health.
Outside the Office
My husband, Konstantinos, owns Studiodontics Dental Lab, which creates all our custom restorations and prosthetics. We have two children; our son George is six and our daughter Kristina is 18 months. They are the joy of my life! They keep me busy and smiling all the time. George loves airplanes and hopes to be a pilot someday, and for now, Kristina loves to follow her older brother around!
When not working, I enjoy cooking, reading, exercising, and traveling. A lot of the time, you can find me walking the Wakefield Lake!
Being of Greek background is something of which I am very proud. My parents immigrated here for a better opportunity and it allowed us to succeed and give back to our community. Raising our children here allows us to give them the best of both worlds!
